POLICIES & FAQ'S
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to ensure that each class begins on time.
Studio doors are locked during practice. You will not be able to join us if you arrive late.
We gratefully accept Cash, Visa and MasterCard – NO Debit
Please check your class pass expiration dates carefully. We feel they are generous and support your commitment to yourself and your practice. It is very difficult on us to extend passes past their expiration date and our goal is certainly not to make or take more than we need, but to remain sustainable so we can continue to share with you what we have learned about living well.
Terms of Agreement:
All fees must be paid in full prior to commencement of class or service regardless of usage.
Money will not be reimbursed.
Any damage to the practice area or products is my responsibility to replace or repair if caused by myself, intentionally or not.
Any payments returned ‘Non-sufficient Funds’ will be charged an additional $30.00 to be paid in cash prior to attending next class or treatment.
Class passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Preregistered classes are run at the studio based on your commitment, not your attendance.
Do I need to bring a mat?
You are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer, but we have all the props you'll need.
What do I wear?
We practice barefoot, so no footwear is required. Comfy clothing that you are able to move in is perfect.
I'm not flexible, can I still come to yoga?
Yes, absolutely. Yoga is not about flexibility, but it does come with practice. We’ll get you there.
Do you teach Hot Yoga?
We offer Warm Hatha. Our studio is heated to between 84 and 90 degrees with safe and therapeutic infrared heating panels designed specifically for movement. The panels heat you, not the room so you will feel the same way you would while enjoying your practice in the sunshine.
I have... arthritis, sore hips, bad knees, tight shoulders etc, can I still do yoga?
Yes, you absolutely can! We will guide you through intelligently sequenced yoga flows that will keep you safe and within a pain free range of motion. Consistency in your practice will help you work towards increasing your range of motion with less pain. We will teach you.
Do You Offer Meditation?
Yes, each class you attend will be infused with yoga philosophy and reminders to stay breath centred. This, followed by a complete Savasana (resting pose) begins the practice of meditation. Formal mediation workshops are added several times per year. Please check the schedule for details.
